Bangable!

Everyone has a celebrity crush... Me, well I have a few! I think every girl secretly pines for the unreachable.

First and foremost, there is something you should know about my taste in men before I reveal my super celeb crush lists. I swoon for a good dork. I also swoon for the tall and skinny. I also like the mysterious kind of dark type. I melt for a baby face. I admittedly have a "physical type". I guess the personalities can range but mostly the personalities are kind of dorky too (not too dorky though, we aren't talking Erkle).

Here we go let's work our way up to the top...

5. coming in 5th but certainly not last is Mr. John Mayer! Hottie Mc Hot Hot does not begin to describe his mysteriousmess and his amazingly talented voice. Overall he's Grade A.

4. Shia Labeouf ... This is not the Shia you know from Even-Stevens. This Disney star turned "bad boy" makes me wanna LA LA. No really, he's got the mysteriousness but still a little bit dorky.

3. Hello, Handsome. Holy Hayden Christiansen. Reminds me of James Dean (who would make the top 5 celeb crush: I'm Dead but still hot version, btw. Which gives me an idea for a latter blog !) He kind of has a baby face, too. Super super sexy! Jumper is also one of my fave movies.

2. Jessie Eisenberg. He's dorky and jewish. What more should I say? Well in all reality, he is so cute... kind of has a baby face too, and ultimately reminds me of my number 1 celeb crush. which brings me to... *drum roll please*

1. Michael Cera..... *swoons* He is the perfect combination... dorky, baby face, tall, skinny and seemingly overall nice guy (note: I have never met him but I am sure he's all that and a bag of potato chips). He is ALSO Canadian which is pretty cool. I would totally bang him.

There you go, you know the key to my heart!

Vacations all I ever wanted!

MAY! Viva Las Vegas!!! I am actually kind of sad that I am not going to Disney in March, like I normally do. It's weird ya know, my first year of no spring break in 18 years. It's definitely taking some getting use to. Not that I was ever priveleged enough to go anywhere but the beach as a kid... then I went to Disney in college.

I was never the child that got to bring friends along on vacation or was ever asked to go on vacation with a friend and their family. I always felt really deprived in that department (even though I was never denied anything else in life, my parents or grandparents were always too cheap to pay for a non family member).

Brings me to me point... here I am in the prime of my life and I don't even have enough vacation time to do what I want to do. Here we go: my aunt and grandparents had a cruise planned for march. they cancelled over a month ago because my grandmother did not feel my grandfather was up to the trip. She has been really sad about it ever since and yesterday she called my aunt up and told her to rebook the cruise. FREE OF COST. My aunt has her own room and everything, she needs a roomie and guess who can't go? Ugh, I'm disgusted.

theres my rant!

Get "The look"

I caved and ordered the Mally beauty "Get the look" kit. Should be arriving tomorrow, excited!!

I opted for this one instead of the Mally dream look kit because of the shimmery brown eye shadow which is my go-to color!!! I am excited about using the lipgloss and trying the mascara which I heard is awesome.

xoxo to all the Mallynistas

Spring is almost Sprung?

March is just around the CORNER and it's never been more perfect time for me to show my faves from the Judith March Spring collection.

I really really love pretty much the entire spring collection but these are some faves. I love Judith March's  eclectic/vintage design. Her colors are fresh but not too bright. I love the vintage chic look. I also happen to LOVE kimono style dresses which is why I am literally obsessed with dress #2. Being a curvier girl, I am not sure if I can wear the L in JM stuff. Worth a try though.

Lovely in Lilly !

Lilly has some GREAT Spring/Summer looks.... here are a few of my favorites!

I love this print. Okay, I lied. I am obsessed with the "Optical Confusion" is so perfectly Paisley and I love paisley. Also the colors... so vibrant and bright. Just a fun fun print!

Adorable is the only word for these shoes. Gold + Silver = so hot and the ruffles are so girly. I love ruffles. Number 2 favorite feminie flair (second only to bows).

I love the style of this top. Once again the print, too! It's loose but not too loose and fitted in the right places.

I love this style dress, the "Anders Dress" has a Kimono look. I also love the bright vibrant print, "Booty Caw". Some of these Lilly looks that I am digging are a little different than the traditional Lilly pastel prints. I like going out on a limb. Lilly has done this right!

This dress is gorgeous! Pretty colors and awesome detailed embellishments. Too bad it is almost $400.

And my favorite for last! I love Navy (mostly because I am a blonde). I am also a fan of the nautical look. This dress also looks comfortable and could be worn dressed down or dressed up. It is on the list! I also think that this would be flattering on my figure.

Alright, Lilly Lovers! Any one else have any favorites?

Bieber Fever...

Who else has it?

Me and the rest of my "20-something" friends have come down with a pretty bad case. It's safe to say that the 16 year old heart throb is serious eye candy. Not just in the looks department but his moves aren't bad either! Is this illegal for me to say ?

He was looking quite studly the other night at the Grammy's dressed in ALL WHITE. Dayum, Biebs.

I am not going to lie to all my followers and say that NEVER SAY NEVER is not on the top of my "To See" list... What can I say? Guilty pleasure. I heard it was excellent and  inspirational. Pssh, excuses! ;) Let's just get to it.... I want some of the super cool 3-D glasses.

I am even finding myself a LITTLE BIT jealous of Selena Gomez. The who is now claiming the Biebs are her new beau. Don't get me wrong I love Selena and think she is precious as can be and actually probably a good match for JB but there is still an inkling of jealousy in here. C'mon we are talking about JUSTIN BIEBER here.

This post is dedicated to the 9 year old me who pined over Zac Hanson for years and even made up a fake fan club for him just so I could tell my stepsister that she could not be a member because we were in fact, at quota. To all the pre-teen/ teeny boppers out there ... NEVER SAY NEVER!!!!!!!!!

The CARRIE DIARIES

So the news that I have been waiting on... ANOTHER SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE! This third movie will be based on Candace Bushnell's prequel to the SATC series, "The Carrie Diaries". Which is about Carrie Bradshaw's teen years.

I am so ecstatic. Literally, ecstatic is not the word. I am happier than when I heard that Chelsea Handler had new books coming out soon. That's a big deal. So next comes the apparent question. Who is going to play the young CB? Rumors have it could be the ever so fabulous (with the perfect hair for the part, might I add) Blake Lively!

Another prospect is another favorite of mine but I am not too sure of her playing the part. In fact, I am pretty positive I would not like it. Miley Cyrus... no thanks. not for the amazing role of Carrie Bradshaw!

Even though this movie is mainly about Carrie, I hope they find a way to add the other girls in too. It just would not be the same without them.

Aren't they just fabulous???

I want to be their friend!

XOXO To All my other SATC fans!

That's worth HOW MUCH?

My love of antiques, old crap, whatever you want to call it has grown immensely. I love watching shows like Antiques road show, American pickers, etc. They have made me want to start "antiquing" or collecting stuff. What I really want is to dig through some of my grand parents or aunts old stuff and find something worth some money! Fat chance, I know. I just find it so intriguing how these people buy stuff at yard sales, find something in their parents attic, inherit stuff from relatives and then it turns out this stuff they thought was crapola is really worth thousands of dollars. It is also cool to see all the really old things and crazy stuff on there, too.  I probably inherited these guilty pleasures from my dad... who got me hooked on Antiques road show at a young age. And my aunt, who loves antiques and going to antique malls.
Santa Claus getting his lion statue appraised on Antiques Road Show
Got to love watching Mike, Frank and Danielle hunting down stuff all across America!

Maybe I am just obsessed with junk and stuff but I have recently developed a fascination with pawn shop shows like Hard Core Pawn and Pawn Stars. Seriously, this is all from my Dad (Thanks, Glen). I really really want to start even GOING to Pawn shops an looking for stuff. Apparently from what I have seen on tv you can get some good stuff at pawn shops. (am I really saying this out loud? no, blogging does not count as out loud). I think I am desperately searching for a hidden treasure of any kind!

Bucket List!

So in honor of all the things I have said I wanted to do or will do, I am starting an official bucket list! It is kind of exciting to think of all the things I want to do before I die and write them down as I think of them. Do any of you have a bucket list?

Speaking of writing things down. I have decided to not only keep a planner, but to keep a little notebook with me so I can write these things down... as well as things I don't want to forget, but don't necessarily want to put in my planner. Like when I put back money for insurance or to save, I write it down so I can keep track of it. Or when I have things I want to do, or need to buy. Kind of like a "things to do " book.  TRYING TO GET ORGANIZE. The most important thing I am writing down in this book is when I pay my bills!!! I am so bad about forgetting to pay and getting late on bills. Now, every time I pay something I write down the date and amount. It helps me remember when I need to pay next! When I finally get everything paid off, it will be a great feeling of accomplishment :)

Obsession.

My latest obsession (developed somewhere between summer and now... ) is CUPCAKES. Probably has a lot to do with the show CupCake Wars, which I love. And all the little cupcake shops popping up everywhere! There will never be a cupcake as good as an Edgar's though.

Anything with a cupcake on it, I WANT! I also am obsessed with making (eating ...) cupcakes too. I got a babycakes mini cupcake maker for christmas :)

As I start to experiment with my cupcake making, I am thinking about getting this little book for some creative ideas ....  SO CUTE!

AND I really really really want the GIANT cupcake cake pan... I have seen them on tv then I saw them in walmart the other day. HOW FUN?!

Happy Valentines Day to ME!

So for my valentine's gift to myself, I bought myself something I have been waiting on buying for awhile. A CRICUT! I got the smaller one, the cricut personal cutter. I am so excited about all the projects I am going to be doing. I will mainly be using it for scrapbooking (little bit), card making and vinyl projects. I got 3 cartridges on eBay for all less than $20 each. The cartridges I got are Doodlecharms, Sweet Treats and Cindy Loo (it came with the George cartridge). The one I am really excited about using is the Cindy Loo cartridges. It has so many cute animals, paisleys, etc.

Now I just have to figure out how to use it! Creativity, here I come!!!!!

Dear Summer

Dear Summer,

I am patiently waiting on you. Even though I normally LOVE winter time. I can't get warm weather off my mind. Maybe it's because I'm ridiculously pale and longing for the lake. Or maybe it's because I have about 20 pairs of shoes on my mind that I want to buy. That being said; I cannot wait to purchase these gold Jack Rogers. Love love love! I can't believe I have not fallen in love before now :)
